SIN® Admission, A Dark Fantasy Love Story Experienced through a Journal of Art
Embracing the allure of darkness sparked by a tragic loss, an artist realizes he must let go of that which haunts, him if he wants to exist in a world with his new beginning. A love that gives him a reason to live again. But it’s not easy to escape the reality in your mind, especially when you are the monster that dwells within.
Immersive 250 pages of fine art, SIN® Admission is an accumulation of mediums; photography, acrylic paint, charcoal, musical lyrics, writing, physical objects, motion, and natural elements. They’re utilized in a organic process to capture hyper-realistic imagery, live raw expression, deep emotional energy, and the tangible feel of physical elements.
MEDIUMS
RUKE’s fine art pieces are a mix of mediums; photography, acrylic paint, charcoal, music, writing, physical objects, motion, and natural elements. He utilizes an organic process in order to capture hyper-realistic imagery, live raw expression, deep emotional energy, and the tangible feel of physical elements.
PROCESS
His workflow many times starts with his original photography composed in Photoshop. It is then projected on mixed media paper and canvas, where he paints embellishments onto the piece. Next, he digitizes them and brings them back to the composition, combining digital and real. His more experimental processes include burning, submerging, and destroying physical objects to bring an extra feel of reality.
He has designed his studio to be an artistic laboratory stocking it with all the necessary supplies so that he can jump back and forth from digital to real without pause. This way he’s able to create his pieces in the moment and not lose the energy and emotion.

The result of this is Sin® Admission, a Journal of Art, with various experiences, where I open old wounds in an effort to bring hope and healing to the lost and disenfranchised.
